What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation or a natural state of selective focused attention in which our conscious mind becomes remote and our subconscious mind is revealed. It is like the analytical left-hand side of the brain is turned off and the non-analytical right-hand side of the brain is made more alert. Hence in this relaxed state, the subconscious mind is enhanced and respond creatively to suggestion and visualization. You are not asleep, unconscious or not in control, however on the contrary you have full control during the whole session and yet you are just in a very deep relaxed state of mind. In this deeply relaxed state of mind, you are still able to talk and respond to my questions. You can still hear and be aware of the surroundings consciously and the therapist could not make you do or say anything if you chose not to. You could even request to go to the bathroom in the middle of the session if there is a need for nature’s call! The hypnosis only works if you want and allows it to. In hypnosis, you retain power over your ability to act upon suggestions.

What is Regression Therapy?

Regression Therapy is a therapeutic method that uses deep relaxation and hypnotic techniques to guide the client back in time, beyond the birth of current life to review events of past lives that are in relevance to the present life situations/issues. Memories stored in Subconscious Mind can be accessed and explored when the Regression and Hypnotic therapy are in order. The hypnotherapist is to facilitate and guide the client regressing in time, and the Subconscious Mind of the client will reveal what is relevant or necessary for the client to know, understand, gain clarity, to release so that the client would have deep healing to the present life situations/issues. Again, regression only works if the client wanted it to work and allows it to happen.

What is Subconscious Mind?

There are many terms to what is Subconscious Mind and from books to the internet, we could find information both scientifically and also spiritually. Subconscious Mind is like a huge memory data bank. Its capacity is unlimited and it stores permanently everything that ever happens to us from the beginning of our soul conception to the present day. The conscious mind is the part of our mind that is associated with the waking state, which is responsible for logical thinking, analyzing, will power and it has very short-term memory storage. We only use 10% or less of our Conscious Mind at most and 90% or more of the brain capacity lies within our Subconscious mind and beyond. Most of the fears, habits, addictions, traumas, negative emotions are stored in our Subconscious Mind, be it memories from present life or past lives. The Subconscious Mind is the part of the mind that we access during hypnosis therapy. With the hypnotic technique, we can remote the Conscious Mind temporarily and the Hypnotherapist will give positive suggestions directly to the Subconscious Mind enabling the process of deep personal healing to take place. To access your Subconscious Mind is to access your ‘Higher Self’ and to access the fullness of our mind is to access the fullness of our potential.

Can I be hypnotized?

Yes, anyone can go into a deep relaxed hypnotic state, only if they want it to work. Firstly, when you seek a Hypnotherapist for a session, you are already ready to be hypnotized. You also need to have an open mind to explore the possibilities and discoveries during the session. Fear, doubt, grieve or being too nervous during the session will deter a deepening state of hypnosis as the Conscious Mind is still taking control of your mind and not making way for the Subconscious Mind to reveal. As long as you relax, trust and follow the hypnotic induction of the Hypnotherapist, you will go into deep relaxation and enter the hypnotic state of mind. At this point, you are relaxed but still, alert which is at the Alpha brain wave cycle. There are 4 brain wave states of consciousness – Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. Beta is the full wide-awake conscious state, follow by Alpha states which is a focused concentration as the mind can only think of one thing at a time. Theta state is the state before we go into sleep and the Delta state is our final deep sleep state. During a hypnotic state of mind i.e. at the Alpha and Theta brain wave cycles, our consciousness is in between wide awake and before going to sleep state.

What if I do not believe in reincarnation, would the Soul Regression Therapy still works for me?"

No matter what one believes, we can agree that we exist in this reality for growth – be that spiritual or evolutionary. You do not have to believe in reincarnation to have the Soul Regression Therapy sessions. If you believe that this is the only one-lifetime existence and you believe there is a purpose to your this only existence, the insights and learnings you discover from the sessions would make you live more fully and purposefully in the present lifetime. In a hypnotic state, the client would see, feel, hear, sense or just know (depending on each individual) of the ‘scenes’ that they are experiencing. For those who can visualise, it will be like watching a movie and each new scene will unfold as both therapist and the client work together to find the learnings of the whole ‘story’. You can view the learnings from the session as a metaphor and not as literal if the term past life does not speak to you directly. Symbols and images are the language of the Subconscious Mind and receive whatever you have experienced during the session as messages or understanding that your Subconscious Mind is communicating with you. The Subconscious Mind connects with infinity and it is the gateway to access our Higher Consciousness.

Who is not suitable for a Soul Regression Therapy sessions?

People who have serious psychiatric or emotional disorders or even epilepsy may not be suitable as hypnosis might intensify the existing paranoia or delusional disorders. Those that are on anti-depression medication or alcoholic or substance abuse are not suitable as well as the medication could be blocking their mind and emotions. These people would not be able to differentiate between reality and fantasy; hence it is difficult to help them through regression therapy. Some children are too not suitable for regression as they have yet to develop their rational minds and are not spiritually matured yet. Those challenging persons who say that they cannot be hypnotized, looking for a quick fix or answers for their problems or people who are not willing to come for a session but coerced to do so due to persuasion of others would also fall into this category that is not the best candidate for a regression session.

What if I cannot see or sense anything?

Past life or Spiritual Regression are not guaranteed. One hindrance to a successful past life regression is the inability to relax and to set your logical analytical critical mind aside. Setting aside the conscious logical mind, and allowing the process to take place with openness and trust. If you are committed to the process, it will happen eventually. This being said if during the session where you might feel being blocked and not being able to see or sense anything; as your therapist, I will guide you through the process to unblock it with hypnotic technique to deepen your relaxation and continue with the regression session. Sometimes, this “block” could happen during the session if your conscious logical mind “resurfaced” and taking control. The key is to just report whatever information that comes up. Once you start judging, analysing, rationalizing to make sense of the past life information, you might just halt the session. There is “no right or wrong” or “real or imaginative” or “making it all up” just trust and say whatever information that comes up at the time and let the finishing “story” unfolds as the session goes. Lastly, there could be religious or other reasons or belief’s why an individual is prevented or cannot access this information.

Can everyone be successfully regressed?

To be able to be successfully regressed, it will work better for some people than others depending on the level of development, trust and readiness. For example, it will work successfully for those who are more in touch with their emotions compared to those that function highly on the intellectual level and are incapable of introspection. Being less analytical and being more imaginative during the session, it too allows the regression session to take place effectively. Having strong expectations and desire to experience a past life or trying to force the process to happen, we could get in the way and block the whole process. It is important not to have any attachment to the outcome of the session and just let the process unfolds as the way the Higher Consciousness has set it to happen. However, for some it might be a matter of readiness as, during a past life session, a memory from early childhood which seems pertinent to the issue might surface and that current life situations need to be worked on first rather than to a past life memory.

I do not have any specific problem but I am curious to experience past life memories? Can I still book a session for Past Life Regression Therapy?

Of course!! It will even work better as you do not have any attachment to the outcome of the session.  Again, nothing is always something as you might discover deep insights or messages during the session to the questions or problems that you might not even realise existed in your current life. Past Life Regression Therapy can unveil many insights and learning that will be beneficial to our current life and it is not just only for finding solutions or answers to problems.

Question 12

Is it possible to have more than one past life during the Past Life Regression?

Yes, it is possible. In some sessions, we may visit other past lives to understand better certain issues/patterns that seem to be repeated in a few lifetimes and we will need to go deeper to resolve the issues/patterns. There are probabilities it happens to very few cases, that while experiencing one lifetime, the scene changes into another lifetime. However, we will review one lifetime to have clarity before moving on to another lifetime, if necessary. There could be reasons why your subconscious mind wanted to show you different lifetimes during the session and we will review it for clearer understanding and resolve the situations.

Can I have someone in the room with me?

No. Firstly, the results of the session can be influenced by the observer just being there in the same room. Also, there are a lot of personal information that could emerge during the session which you may not wish to share.

Will I remember what happened during the session?

Accepted Answer

In an altered state of mind in deep relaxation or hypnosis state of mind, you are still fully alert and aware. Most people remained fully aware of everything they said and experienced during the regression sessions. Unless you are a natural somnambulist where you will be in a very deep hypnosis level and might not remember fully about the session but still be able to answer questions and talk to the therapist. This being said, there are only a few percentages of people who are natural somnambulists. However, all sessions are recorded and a copy of the voice recording will be given to the client for them to listen and review.

How long is a session? How many sessions do I need ?

A Past Life Regression session would take about 2 hours or more depending on the progress of the session. An After Life (Life Between Lives) session would be in between 2.5 - 3 hours or more as well. Also, there would be some time allocated in the pre-talk before the start and time to review after the end of the session which altogether would be an additional hour or more as required. Some clients find that one session gave them the answers or insights and even healing to the issues that they have.
Usually, after a successful past life regression, some will proceed to schedule the next appointment for an Afterlife Regression (LBL) for a deeper spiritual understanding.

Are my sessions confidential?

I do not reveal the names of my clients, and all sessions are confidential. All sessions are recorded and a copy of the voice recording will be given to you. To whom and how you want to share your recording is fully at your discretion.

Can I end my session in progress at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You are always in control. At any point during the process, if you wish to end the session for whatever reason, you can just tell me and I will bring you back and awake into present consciousness, the same step that I do for every end of the therapy session.

Can I get stuck in a past life?

Accepted Answer

No, it is not possible to get stuck in a past life. During the session, whatever that you experience in your inner mind is often vivid and seems very real, yet you are still physically present in the therapy room in the present time and place. You are safe and as your therapist, I will be there to guide you along with the session and if there are any highly emotional or physical experiences, I will bring you through the session to observe at different viewpoints instead of experiencing it at the soul level. At the same time, we will still review these scenarios to find the learning and insights for clarity and understanding. Sometimes, deep healing occurs more significantly when reliving thorough these highly emotional or physical experiences. However, your well-being will be my utmost priority.

What do I need to prepare for the Soul Regression Therapy session?

A few days before the Past Life Regression or After Life therapy, it is beneficial to give our physical body and mind a good rest. Best to stay away from the influence of drugs or alcohol as this might interfere with the mind during the session. Wear comfortable clothing during the session. Also, prepare a list of questions or issues that you would like to address in the regression. Questions can be related to current life issues and also questions on the soul or spiritual level which is best to be inquired during the After Life (In-Between Lives) session. It is important to allow some time to rest after the therapy, making sure that you do not need to return to work or undertake busy activities.
